Vitto Schietti

Vitor Schietti's work is dedicated to the visual representations of dreams and memories as building blocks of one's identity. His motifs range from landscape to portraiture, applying long exposure, multiple exposure, and light painting techniques.

Vitor was born in Brasilia (Brazil) in 1986, but lives in Barcelona. He is passionate about rock climbing as he practices in iconic sites in Spain and is dedicated to the vegan cause, having founded The Vegan Utopia project. Schietti has a degree in Social Communication from the University of Brasilia. In 2011 he founded a photographic studio specialized in advertising photography in Brasilia, which continues to operate through his former partners. He has participated in various individual and collective exhibitions in Spain, Brazil, Italy, the US, India, Japan and Russia.

The "Impermanent Sculptures" series was honored at the PDN 2016 Annual Photo Award in New York and gained international recognition through countless articles, as well as appearances in advertisements, books, and magazine covers. He studied film in Los Angeles and São Paulo and often produces videos for clients in Europe. From 2017 to 2020, Vitor was the cultural manager of the Espronceda Institute of Art and Culture, where he participated in the art market from a different perspective, helping artists achieve projects and moving the art scene in Barcelona. In 2020, Schietti refocused on fine art and commercial photography.
