At a time when the image of women is being tested and reconstructed, the artist Sofía Franco decides to expose the woman's body naked, showing her fragility, representing the subtle, the hidden and the vulnerable as a constant in her work. .

Acknowledging the latter as an act of bravery. He creates a game between the figurative and the abstraction of his backgrounds , inviting the viewer to detach himself from the known and imagine a world with different points of view .

The works show how women are involved in a chaotic exterior, referring to external situations that one cannot control, wanting to focus on the ability to live and create from love beyond the context in which we live.

Sofía Franco is a visual artist born in Argentina, who at the beginning of 2020 decided to settle in the city of Barcelona, ​​looking to broaden her horizons and continue developing her artistic career. He is currently concentrating on figurative art that he carries out in his workshop located in l'Eixample. Exhibiting in different galleries and Civic Centers since last year. Today he finds himself with new international projects and with the intention of continuing to exhibit in Barcelona as well as in other cities in Europe.
