Abstraction as a creative engine

The artist Romina Manzoni began painting at the age of 23 due to an illness that reduced her mobility for 6 months. Over time, he decided to study Fine Arts in Buenos Aires since he realized that his creations were well received but that he lacked technical resources and tools to be able to develop his artistic career in a more processional way.

He arrived in Barcelona in 2019 and during the confinement period he had the opportunity to learn the Zentangle technique , which he comments "brought many nuances to my work". He has participated in the A-FAD open workshops and various craft markets.

Previously, he lived in Rome in 2001 where he held several exhibitions and was able to delve into new techniques that he had not known in Argentina. Later he also lived in Madrid where he participated for 8 years in different individual and collective exhibitions, markets, showrooms and other actions.

He created "Manos del Sur" his own Argentine craft shop but, years later, he decided that he preferred to dedicate all his time and effort to painting and producing his creations and he returned to Buenos Aires where he taught bookbinding workshops and held several individual exhibitions and focused on in the virtual world betting on social networks with personalized orders.
