Momo is fascinated by atmospheres, light and the poetic serenity of the landscape and the sea. He really enjoys the chance and the movement of the liquid pigments in the painting, almost like in a watercolor, transmitting different aspects of his state of mind: joy, happiness or sadness.

His works are found in a dichotomy between science and improvisation where art reflects the poetry of his inner world. His style could be configured in contemporary landscape abstraction with influences from abstract expressionism, luminism and post-impressionism. He works on metal, canvas, and board using pigments with alcohol, acids, inorganic salts, as well as binding resins and lacquers to obtain a pigmentary liquid of different concentrations that adheres perfectly to the support called alcoholor. With Alcohol, incredible results are obtained full of freshness and atmosphere that permeate the entire work. The extraction of pigments through chemical experimentation are the basis that he uses to find each precise color in each work and the free gestures, spontaneity and fluidity of movement his creation tools.

He currently has representation in several national galleries with the Backyardarte in Simancas, the Veracruz gallery in Vejer de la Frontera, in Cádiz or the Origen Gallery in Madrid. Internationally, he is represented by the Context Art Gallery in Rome, the Flyer Art Gallery in Venice and SKT Spaces in London. His works are found among collectors in the US, Israel, France, Italy or the United Kingdom and he also participates in international art fairs such as ART3F in Paris, Brussels or Affordable Amsterdam and London.
