Marika is a versatile and multifaceted artist who lives in Barcelona and has an eclectic background in various creative disciplines, such as graphic design, architecture, illustration and painting. This training gives you a holistic view of creative practice, which is reflected in your artwork.

Through her pieces, Marika expresses her particular interest in the constantly changing mechanism of life, human interaction and the inevitable alienation of the individual in their own process of transformation and growth. Themes such as identity and the challenge of creating a new life are recurring in his work.

What stands out in her work is her spontaneous drawing style and playful approach, combined with strong, intuitive brushstrokes and smoky waters that create an interactive, powerful, and very much alive imaginary universe. Marika invites the viewer to explore, enjoy, reflect and, why not, get lost in her work.

From an early age, Marika has been drawing, and has participated in international exhibitions, facilitated workshops, and held numerous live painting events. In addition, he designed the creative workshop "The Curious Workshop - a colorful creative journey inwards", with the aim of bringing creatives and non-creatives closer to well-being through art.
