Eduardo Grandillo, an artist born in Montevideo in 1961 and trained as a plastic artist at the Instituto Ateneo de Montevideo where, as a friend of his would say, he learned "art kitchen" the basics of art such as copying from nature, mixing colors and resolving spaces. In 1983, he entered the Pedro Figari school (Uruguay) where he experimented with sculpture, learning to combine volume and space, better understanding the different languages ​​within the arts and its unequivocal purpose, to awaken the senses, raise awareness and leave a chronicle of time. that we live

He has made a winding path going from figuration to the abstract, returning to drawing and thus to neo-figuration, always in continuous search.

In 2018 he moved to Madrid, to be close to his children, along with this change in life an alter ego was born, the artist Fito Bosch , with a minimal, brief and simple story. In this new stage, he wanted to stop searching for the complexities of art, stop intellectualizing it by searching in depth and go to the surface, look for the playful, the simple, find the game and enjoy as children do. Starting from the premise that art uses different languages ​​to express the same thing, " my intention is to tell simple and brief stories through my work " the artist tells us.
