In love with the architecture of the city of Barcelona

The artist Francesc Muntada, born in Terrassa, illustrator and designer from Barcelona. He studied visual creation at EINA, but it was during the pandemic that he started his personal project at Encesc . Since he was little, he had admired Barcelona and its architecture and he loved going to visit museums, going to the theater or going to the beach to see the sea. Now he has been living in this city for years and he likes it more and more. "Walking through its streets and letting yourself get lost, you always end up discovering new places." tells us.

Due to the confinement, as a result of spending a lot of time locked up at home and, once when he was able to go for a walk, he began to rediscover Barcelona and realized again how beautiful its streets are. At that time he began to draw some of the buildings that he saw during the routes through the city. And so Encesc was born, with the intention of showing some of the architectural icons so characteristic of the city.

All his work is done digitally and, although it has evolved a lot, he has always followed a minimalist and clean aesthetic, characterized by a fine line .
