Daria Titinkova

My name is Daria Titinkova, I am 36 years old, I live in Barcelona. I was born in Russia, Moscow. During the pandemic, sitting at home, I started painting for the first time. Since then painting has become my passion. I work mainly in watercolor, I love this technique for its lightness and texture, I love how the colors mix and how they leave lines and lines on the paper. Sometimes I mix it with acrylic paints and black ink to achieve different effects of textures and stains .

Lately I have focused on abstract art, I like this technique for its unpredictability, you never know what each of us is going to find at work, it always leaves its mark and its emotions.

I am very inspired by nature, its pure colors, which it mixes so naturally. I also get inspired by meeting people, music and visiting new places. Sometimes very strong memories or emotions come and I try to capture them on paper. I believe that art should not be perfect, it should inspire!
