Carlota Mollet began her career in the field of marketing and advertising. However, little by little his interests began to focus on increasingly creative fields. Already during his degree in ADE & Marketing, he included various subjects from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona, ​​and from there, he studied at various schools both in Barcelona ( Escola Massana ) and San Francisco ( City College University of San Francis ) and London ( Central Saint Martins Art School ).

Carlota has been a finalist in the "Bienal Jove" contest of the Cercle de Belles Arts de Sabadell and a finalist in the " National Painting Award " of Rotary Barcelona, ​​as well as selected for the exhibition " Joves talents " at Casa Saladrigues on the Costa Brava. His works have been sold in Spain, the United States and Japan.

For Carlota Mollet, art is the language of the soul. When you paint, you don't just paint with a brush, you paint with your whole body. Including your soul . And, for her, the intention has to be to move the viewer.

None of his characters leaves you indifferent. They all try to convey, in one way or another, intensity - with a look or a gesture that captivates you. And, to help transmit it, his work is not a simple oil or traditional painting, but is a step further. With major influences from advertising, he seeks to bring the world of painting closer to the modernity of photography and thus merge both techniques. Transfer, mix, merge, in order to create something new and unconventional.
